More About This Website

This is my effort to share my thoughts with readers about concerns facing our country today.  I believe there is a good chance my grandchildren may be the first generation in the history of this great country not to have a better standard of living than their parents. If so, our generation is to blame. The clock is running out for damage control. .

Republican Party--Clueless and Gutless

The Republican Party under the leadership of Michael Steele is both clueless and gutless.

First, where is the Republican Party on the Tea Party plans for 4-15-09? They should be front and center providing funds for organizers and information on the times and places for these protests. Gutless.

Where is the party on issues that are creating the Tea Parties? Income tax reform is building up steam all over the country with supporters of both parties. The tax code is so complex that the entirety of the Obama team can't do it right. Americans, not republicans or democrats are mad about it. Where is the republican party on energy? Nuclear energy is a no brainer. It doesn't produce carbon and it does produce jobs and much needed power to reduce dependency on fossil fuels. President Obama, the great orator, stutters when trying to defend a non-nuclear stance. Harry Reid is a big target since he got the storage facility stopped in Nevada after billions were spent getting it ready.

Where is the republican party on education? The democrats are in bed with the teacher's union. The union that requires mediocrity. Easy target.

The American people are so upset that they have no voice whatsoever today with the media bias and the silence of the alternative parties that don't support spending our grand kids into poverty, pushing to have the government run our lives, and one failed policy after another that they are having a Tea Party. Is the Tea Party the new Republican Party? Even in the UK, the conservative party is about to regain power after years on the sidelines.

The silence is deafening. The stupidity is embarrassing. The lack of leadership is blatant.

How does the party expect to get support when they simply watch in awe as they are beaten into the ground. Their old tired cliches are getting wearisome. The old faces are getting tiresome. The new faces are worse in some cases.

Guess the Libertarian Party is the next version of the Republican Party. They are spending money and time on the Tea Parties as are some media like Fox News.
